Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa (opened 21 October 2015) is a French luxury 5-star resort hotel on Sentosa island.
Where is it?
Sentosa Island is away from the crowds of Orchard Road. But anyone who has been to Singapore will know how small the island is and how easy it is to get around.
Sentosa Island is a bit of a hotspot in Singapore and there’s plenty to do for families too, such as visiting Universal Studios. Sentosa is not far from Singapore’s twinkling Gardens by the Bay and SkyPark.
Sofitel Singapore Sentosa sits on top of a cliff rising above Tanjong Beach. You can say that it’s as close as you can get to a haven of tranquillity and relaxation in bustling Singapore.
Is it really luxurious?
Like most Sofitel hotels, the lobby is impressive. Sofitel Sentosa has an eye-catching lighting installation hanging from the ceiling inspired by the Milky Way.
The hotel is surrounded by tropical gardens and has views of the South China Sea.
What about the rooms?
There are 215 rooms, suites (Junior, Prestige and Imperial) and two-bedroom villas with private pools.
What else?
There’s an events centre and So SPA has 14 indoor treatment rooms and six outdoor spa pavilions.
Singapore has changed enormously over the last decade. Here are some things to do and places to see in Singapore. If you’re planning a trip to Asia, here are more new luxury resorts to consider.
